Good morning everyone! I'm excited to share with you my unforgettable experience of participating in the school science exhibition last month. This event not only improved my knowledge about environmental protection but also taught me the importance of teamwork and perseverance.

The preparation process started two weeks before the exhibition. Our class was divided into three groups: one group focused on collecting recycling data, another designed educational posters, and I was in charge of creating a model of a smart garden. At first, I struggled with finding enough materials for the model. The recycling center we visited only provided limited plastic bottles and paper waste. My group members, Li Hua and Wang Wei, suggested using natural materials like leaves and branches instead. This idea not only solved our material problem but also added a creative touch to our project.

However, we faced unexpected challenges during the construction. The wooden frame kept collapsing because the glue wasn't strong enough. We tried using white glue three times but each time the structure fell apart. My classmates reminded me of what our teacher said in class: "Patience is the key to success in science." We decided to experiment with different adhesives. Finally, we combined white glue with hot glue sticks, which made the frame much sturdier. This experience taught me that even small adjustments can make a big difference in scientific experiments.

The most rewarding part came when we presented our project. standing in front of the entire school, I felt nervous but also proud. I demonstrated how the solar-powered garden could automatically water plants using sunlight. When the principal tested the system and it successfully浇灌了三盆植物, the whole audience clapped enthusiastically. Our model won first prize in the "Best Creative Solution" category, but what made me truly happy was seeing classmates from other groups come to ask for advice about improving their projects.

Looking back on this journey, I realize that scientific exploration isn't just about finding answers but also about learning from failures. The project taught me three important lessons: First, teamwork makes the dream work - our success wouldn't have been possible without constant communication. Second, scientific methods require both creativity and practicality - we had to balance artistic design with functional requirements. Third, every small discovery counts - even the minor adjustments we made improved our project significantly.

This experience has completely changed my view of science. I used to think science was only about complicated experiments in labs, but now I see it as a way to solve real-world problems. I especially appreciate how our project connected to the school's new environmental protection campaign. By creating the smart garden model, we demonstrated how technology can help protect nature. This has inspired me to continue participating in science activities and maybe even start a recycling program in our community.

In conclusion, the science exhibition was more than just a school event. It was a valuable learning experience that taught me perseverance, creativity, and the power of teamwork. I'm already looking forward to next year's exhibition and planning to improve our project by adding more interactive elements. I believe that through continuous practice and collaboration, we can make our world a better place one scientific discovery at a time. Thank you for listening to my story!
